Architectural Design (Full Services), Interior Design

Experitec is a manufacturer of process control equipment. The enterprise required 30,000 SF of manufacturing, 15,000 SF of office and 5,000 SF of training space. One of the key design elements is a clear delineation between public and semi-public spaces. A wedge-shaped space clad in glass curtain wall effectively splits the building into two parts, creating a naturally lit "public street" within the building. The "public street" extends the full width of the building, with public, training and amenity spaces on the front side and the semi-private offices beyond. The warehouse and shop areas are at the back of the building, behind the semi-private office space. The exterior design features an abstract composition of windows and painted reveals in concrete panels using a theme that is carried through to the interior. The interior features natural materials and warmer earth tones.

A provider of process management solutions and representative for Emerson Process Management, Experitech consolidated its operations from two buildings to this new location. The building was undertaken and completed in less than six months allowing the Owner to rapidly stream line operations and improve value to the customer. These improvements supported new business development and a 10,000 sq. ft. expansion of their operations completed in 2008.
